Acceptance and service scope
By using ForgeConvert, you agree to these terms. ForgeConvert provides an online image-format conversion tool and educational information. The service is offered as available and may change, be limited, or be unavailable without creating a continuing service obligation.
Your files and permissions
- You must have the right to upload and process every file you submit.
- Do not upload unlawful content, malware, or material intended to disrupt or test the service without authorization.
- Do not attempt to bypass file, pixel, rate, format, or processing limits.
- You remain responsible for the source file, the converted result, and how either is used or shared.
Conversion results
Conversion can change compression, transparency, metadata, color handling, animation, pages, and compatibility. ForgeConvert rejects animation and multi-page inputs under its current single-frame policy. It does not guarantee that an output will be smaller, visually identical, suitable for archival use, or accepted by every application.
Keep the original and verify the downloaded result in its intended destination before deleting, publishing, printing, archiving, or relying on it.
Service limits and fair use
Current limits are enforced by the application, including limits on batch count, file size, pixel count, output size, processing time, and request rate. These limits may be adjusted to protect availability and security.
Intellectual property
You retain whatever rights you hold in files you upload. These terms do not transfer ownership of your images to ForgeConvert. The ForgeConvert name, interface, original site copy, and software remain subject to their applicable rights.
No professional or preservation guarantee
Educational content is general information, not legal, medical, financial, archival, print-production, or other professional advice. ForgeConvert is not a substitute for a controlled professional workflow when accuracy, evidence, compliance, or preservation is critical.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent allowed by applicable law, the service is provided without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Users are responsible for maintaining backups and reviewing outputs.
Misuse and access
ForgeConvert may reject requests or restrict access when necessary to enforce technical limits, address abuse, protect the service, or comply with valid obligations.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected by the last-updated date. Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@forgeconvert.com.
