A focused image conversion resource

ForgeConvert combines a server-side image converter with practical explanations of image formats, conversion tradeoffs, compatibility, transparency, compression, and troubleshooting. Its purpose is to help users choose a suitable route and understand what may change.

How the converter is designed

The current converter accepts only routes enabled by its live capability registry. Uploads are checked by size, extension, MIME type, and file signature. Unsafe active or external SVG content is rejected. Conversion is bounded by file, pixel, output, frame, time, and rate limits.

Outputs are processed on the server. Ordinary results are returned from memory; larger results may use short-lived temporary server files for chunked download. ForgeConvert does not offer permanent image storage.

Editorial approach

ForgeConvert resources separate general format capabilities from the behavior of the current ForgeConvert encoders. Recommendations emphasize destination requirements, preservation of masters, realistic compatibility checks, and verification of results rather than claiming that one format is always best.

Independent site identity

ForgeConvert is the public site identity used at forgeconvert.com. This page does not claim a separate incorporated entity, registration number, office, phone number, or named staff identity because none is verified in the project.
