Current cookie use

ForgeConvert does not set first-party analytics or advertising cookies. It uses the cookie-free Umami Cloud tracker for aggregate website analytics and does not include advertising, remarketing, or cross-site behavioral tracking.

Browser storage is used for one converter workflow

ForgeConvert uses IndexedDB, which is browser storage rather than a cookie, to carry selected files from the homepage to a dedicated conversion route. The application reads and deletes the pending record when the route opens. An interrupted navigation may leave that record in browser site data until it is later used or cleared.

Essential network behavior

The server uses ordinary HTTP requests, no-store response headers for conversion data, and an in-memory request counter. The application does not require an account or authentication cookie for public conversion.

Umami Cloud analytics

The global Umami script is loaded from cloud.umami.is. It is configured for forgeconvert.com, excludes URL search parameters, and respects the browser’s Do Not Track setting. Umami does not use cookies for its tracker. It processes anonymized page views, referrers, browser, operating-system, device, and approximate location information. ForgeConvert does not configure custom events, user identification, session properties, or session replay.

• Uploaded images and converted outputs are not sent to Umami.
• The Website ID is a public tracker configuration value, not an authentication credential.
• An ad blocker, network control, or Do Not Track setting may prevent the tracker from loading or sending a page view.

Managing site data

Browser settings can be used to inspect or clear data stored for forgeconvert.com. Clearing site data may remove a pending file selection but does not delete files from the user’s device.

If ForgeConvert later adds cookies, advertising, user identification, session replay, custom event data, or another tracking service, this policy must be updated and any legally required consent controls must be implemented before the new technology is enabled.
