General information
ForgeConvert’s guides, comparisons, glossary entries, and troubleshooting material provide general educational information about image formats and conversion workflows. They are not professional advice and do not replace requirements supplied by a printer, archive, employer, platform, regulator, attorney, or other qualified specialist.
Conversion limitations
A successful conversion does not prove that the output preserves every property of the source or meets every destination requirement. Formats and encoders differ in compression, transparency, animation, pages, metadata, color, and software support. Information already lost from a source cannot be restored simply by converting it.
User verification
- Keep the original or authoritative master.
- Open the output in the actual receiving application.
- Inspect dimensions, orientation, transparency, color, visible detail, frames, pages, and file size as relevant.
- Do not rely on ForgeConvert as the only copy or as an evidentiary, archival, diagnostic, or compliance system.
External information
External links are provided when they add context. ForgeConvert does not control external content and does not guarantee its continuing availability or accuracy.
No unsupported promises
ForgeConvert does not promise universal compatibility, a particular file-size reduction, exact visual identity, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a specific professional purpose. Applicable non-waivable rights remain unaffected.
